Isabel González Whitaker to Moderate PINK’s 10TH ANNIVERSARY FALL EMPOWERMENT EVENT

 Isabel González Whitaker is Deputy Editor at Billboard magazine where she oversees all content for the magazine alongside the EIC.  In addition to helping ideate and execute cover stories and feature packages, she also top edits the style and culture pages. Prior to Billboard she was the features editor at InStyle magazine where she produced cover stories and celebrity fashion features. At InStyle she represented the brand on numerous television news and entertainment shows. Isabel was previously the Editor in Chief of Tu Vida, a Latin women’s lifestyle publication for Hearst Magazines and before that she was Special Projects Editor at Teen People. Isabel is the co-author of the award-winning cookbook Latin Chic: Entertaining with Style and Sass (HarperCollins) and has appeared on Iron Chef America twice as a judge, a one-hour Emeril special, numerous national TV segments as well as working as a Hispanic spokesperson for Sony, Macy’s, the National Pork Board, among others.

González Whitaker is Cuban American and a graduate of Tulane University. She began her career as a producer for the Cartoon Network in Atlanta, GA. She has written numerous culture and lifestyle articles for Time Magazine, The New York Times and The Washington Post among other national outlets.
