“AccountEdge lets you create [finance] quotes, orders as well as invoices,” explains Uppal. 

Plus, the Quickbooks app lets you easily look up accounts receivable, check customer lists, and keep records of expenses on the road.

The best news? Both apps are free.

For smarter shopping, Our Groceries and Froogle let you compare prices, scan barcodes electronically, read reviews and search products by photo, Uppal says.

Voice apps (Speaktoit and Vlingo are her favorites) let you send text messages and get directions while walking or driving, so you can focus without distraction.

That’s what we call “mobile multi-tasking.”
